First split album. 10 tracks. My half is classical noise, his is synth noise. Should not work together but it does. Messy in a good way.

This one is special to me. First time doing a split like this and figured why not go full length. Half the record is mine, half is his, and somehow it holds together.

The story

Side A
When looking at this side from a retrospective standpoint, it begins with "The Last Morning Sober", a song that conveys the strange calm that preceded the storm and places a strong emphasis on a painful yearning for the man he had been. On Side A, heroin is not merely regarded as a drug but is given the personality of a toxic lover called "Ms. H", someone who is alluring, overwhelming and deadly. The relapse depicted in "Heroin Bible" sets off a downward spiral of complete despair, which brings him to suicide by the fifth track.

Side B

This account gives a completely identical description of the collapse, but from the point of view of the person whilst the addiction is taking place. At first it appears euphorically optimistic, depicting a character who is empty and entirely obsessed with pursuing a high that he can no longer actually feel. When this high finally runs out, the frustration turns into a hollow, aimless rage; he watches Cannibal Holocaust, gets violently sick, and yet is afterwards well enough to develop a desire for more—a desire which in the end determines his destiny.
